Privacy Policy
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads, and calculates every conversion in your browser. The rest of this page is the detail, including the two places where a request does reach a server.
What runs in your browser
Every converter on UnitGlide is plain JavaScript running locally on your device. The value you type is turned into a result on your own machine and is never transmitted, logged or stored. That is what the line in the footer means, and it is literally true for the converters: the numbers you type never leave the tab.
Cookies
UnitGlide sets no cookies at all. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to ask you about. The site also writes nothing to local storage or session storage, so closing the tab leaves nothing behind.
Advertising
There are no ads on UnitGlide, and no advertising network, tag or tracking pixel is loaded. Google AdSense is not used. Nothing on this site profiles you or builds an audience segment from your visit.
Analytics
No analytics product is running on this site, so no page-view or event data is collected by UnitGlide. If that ever changes, the product will be named here explicitly before it is switched on, and it will be a cookieless one.
Where a request does reach a server
There are exactly two, and it would be dishonest to leave them out.
The conversion API. UnitGlide offers a free JSON API for developers at /api/convert. Unlike the on-page converters, an API call is a real network request: the value you pass sits in the URL, so it reaches the hosting provider and can appear in standard server request logs. This only applies if you deliberately call the API yourself. It never happens while you use a converter on the site.
The contact form. If you submit the form on the contact page, the name, email address and message you type are posted to a contact endpoint operated by FusionStudios so that somebody can reply to you. Nothing is sent unless you press submit, and that form is the only place on the site that asks you for anything.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files by Vercel. As with essentially any web host, Vercel processes standard technical request data such as your IP address and user agent in order to deliver the page and to protect the service. That processing is Vercel's, governed by their privacy policy and data processing addendum. UnitGlide adds no logging of its own on top of it.
Your rights
Because this site collects no personal data, there is in practice nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have used the contact form and want your message removed, ask through the same form or reply to the answer you received, and it will be deleted.
